So, I have to admit I haven't listened to much Counting Crows lately. But for some reason I checked out their website today and there are some pretty cool new developments. No new studio album, but some fun side stuff.
I guess a year or two ago around Valentine's Day, Adam got the idea to record his own acoustic piano versions of seven Valentine's Day-ish covers in seven days. He does songs by Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Steve Earl, Tom Waits and others. Here's his cover of You Might Think by some guy named Ric Ocasek:
Also, Counting Crows apparently just released a Live Album called Live at Town Hall which is them playing through August and Everything After. Here's Rain King mixed with a bit of The Boss:
